The situation
Blink is a custodial Bitcoin wallet with a popular Lightning API and a USD “stable Bitcoin” product, originally serving El Salvador and now expanding internationally.
When I was brought in, the company had real product traction but a broken cap table, exhausted runway, and a founder team that had run out of options. Without a fast restructure, the lights would go out.
The work
Mapped every shareholder, contract and liability to find a path that everyone could live with.
Negotiated a complete shareholder restructure under heavy time pressure.
Ran a 30-day fundraise on the back of the new structure and closed $1.4M.
Stepped in as Executive Chairman and CEO once the restructure cleared.
Outcome
Company saved, runway secured, and a credible path to scale internationally with a clean cap table.
